Dinner time!

This is our nice, quiet dinner time....

We love our baby pool!

When we can't get to a big pool, and the weather is HOT, the next best thing is to splash around in our baby pool! Here we are on our side covered porch splish-splashing away! So fun!

Last day in Tahoe....at the beach

In the afternoon today (our last day here!) we went to the beach and put the boys toes in the lake.

Tahoe so far....

We are having a great time so far in Tahoe! Just a few things that we've been up to so far....

The boys went to check out the Dollar Point beach...we didn't stay long (no swimsuits on!) but enough to put their toes in the lake!! We'll do another beach day....

The boys have been waiting all week to meet Francie! Today we had a lunch date at Janet's house--so fun! The boys loved her homemade pizza from her pizza oven (who doesn't!!!) and Francie once again shared her swingset.

Ryan's mom went to a lot of trouble to get TONS and TONS of toys for the boys. There are 2 huge bins of them! Of course, what is most fun? Plastic cups of course!

Having some fun!

We've been relaxing and having some fun our first couple days here. We've gone on some walks around the neighborhood, played outside, and even got our 1-year portraits taken up in the city.
Danny is loving the fact that Grandma & Grandpa have a Kangaroo climber in their back yard just like the one we have at home!

We went over to the Simonsons house to check out Francie's swingset...Francie is out of town right now, but we have a lunch/playdate with her on Thursday and we can't wait! Francie-thanks for letting the boys borrow your swingset! They'll be old pros at swinging by the time they see you on Thursday!

Ryan's parents threw us a great parry for all our friends and their kids at their house on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and the boys were looking forward to seeing everyone!

Aunt Beth was home for the whole weekend with us!!! The boys had a lot of fun with her...and we get to see her all next week in Tahoe too!

"When is this party starting?!"

Aunt Jill came home on Sunday afternoon for the party...and left first thing on Monday morning...gotta love those less then 24 hour trips home! The boys were so happy to see Aunt Jill during the party and can't wait till next week in Tahoe when they can spend some more quality time with her and Uncle Jason. They really appreciated how much effort their two aunts made to be there for their first weekend back in California!

We made it to California!

After quite a rough flight out (and I am not exaggerating at all) we made it out to California for the start of our two week vacation! Ryan's parents did so much work to get the house ready for these 3 boys--from baby-proofing like crazy to borrowing an entire room full of toys, high chairs, cribs, carseats, to buying tons of their favorite foods! After we got to their house, I bathed them (get all those yucky plane germs off!) and then the boys went exploring through the house. They were all mixed up with the time difference ("Mom, how could you wake us up at 4:45am EST, we fly for 6 hours, and it's still only 9:45am???!!!) but are getting a little more adjusted every day we are here. We're looking forward to a great time here!
