The moms threw a beach party for the class on their last day of school. It was so cute, everyone went all out! There were beachy cupcakes, cookies, hotdogs, soft pretzels and watermellon to eat, plus tons of fun games--even a water balloon toss. Here are some video highlights from the party....
4-year old freeze dance...there are times when Danny and Andrew are the ONLY kids in the whole class dancing. Where did they learn these moves??

St. Peter's Graduation night
School had a little graduation ceremony for 2 of the 4-year old classes last night. The theme was red, white and blue, so everyone dressed accordingly. It was a little ceremony that consisted of all the children singing lots of songs from throughout the school year, showing off their spanish skills with their spanish teacher, and they even got to take a little bow when their name was called to receive a diploma. Some of the kids in their class are going on to Kindergarten next year, while others like us are staying at the school doing one of their pre-k programs. The boys stood in the back row of the ceremony, so it was hard to take pictures or videos of them, but we got a few. In the video below, you can see them doing some spanish, standing up/sitting down during "If you're happy and you know it", see Dylan belting out "Take me out to the ballgame" and all three taking a bow (and forgetting to get their diplomas!).

4-year old dr. appointment
Another birthday meant another well-visit doctor appointment. The boys were so good, they knew the routine! This time, in addition to getting weighed, measured and their blood pressure taken, they also had a vision test and a hearing test. They did just fine with everything!
DANNY: 34 lbs and 3'4.13"
ANDREW: 34.7 lbs and 3'4.25"
DYLAN: 42.1 lbs and 3'7"
Such big boys!! We did one shot and will be returning for a few boosters throughout the summer.

Pirate Birthday Party!
The boys are so into pirates right now, we just had to have a pirate birthday party!!
We had it at a local barn, which was just perfect in case it rained. But it was a beautiful day!! All the pirates were ready for some fun!
The cupcakes!

The favors...hidden inside a treasure chest!

When everyone came in, we had them go over and take a funny pirate picture!

After the photo, everyone got to come to the art table, put on a pirate hat, and decorate a bucket with pirate stickers. The buckets are for the treasure hunt later!

Our first game was Walk the Plank! Watch out for those crocodiles!

A few other games we played (that I didn't get pictures of during all the action!) were "pin the treasure chest on the x-marks-the-spot" , throw cannon balls (ping pong balls painted with velcro added) to the felt pirate ship, and throw bean bags into crocodile's mouth.

Swab the Deck! Push the balloon across the floor using your push broom. So funny!

Little Captain Hooks! Try to hook the pretzels with your homemade hooks!

Our last game was "Sink the Pirate Ship"...everyone divided into two teams and tried to throw cannon balls (painted black ping-pong balls) into the other team's pirate ship (bin). It was so funny to watch!

Time for a treasure hunt! Ryan and Kevin hid 700 gold coins. All the kids brought their pirate buckets they decorated and were ready to go!

The boys LOVED when all their friends sang Happy Birthday to them!!!

Balloon time!!

I think this will be a party they will all definitely remember!
