Dylan the bike rider!!!

It's been a few weeks now, but wanted to share the exciting news that Dylan now rides his big boy bike WITHOUT training wheels!!! He picked it up so quickly!!! Now it's hard to get him off his bike!!!

Right shirts, wrong sport

Yesterday afternoon we were playing hockey in the driveway...so I told the boys I would get their Flyers shirts (thanks Uncle Kevin!) so they could be official hockey players. They all had them on...and within 2 minutes decided to switch sports and play football. So there we were playing football in our hockey shirts!

Picture day for soccer today!!



After pictures, the boys did a few drills and then the coach brought out the goals for a little 1 v 1 action and then 2 v 2 then...everyone all together. Dylan scored 2 times!

Field Trip to the pumpkin patch

Today the boys went on their first field trip of this school year--to Freddy Hill Farms. The biggest highlight for them was that they got to ride in a school bus to get there. They have been so excited...wondering what number bus it would be. Today they were awake at 6am and the first thing they said was "Is today the bus day?" Well, we got on the #99 and they were so happy. We did this same trip last year and what a difference a year makes. This year they were with a big pack of boys the whole time. It was nice for me to meet some of their new classmates that they have been talking about. Unlike last year when it was raining for this trip, today was actually nice out, which was great. They rode a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, picked a pumpkin, then the hayride took them back over to a corn maze. At the end of the maze they got to slide down a big slide. Finally, they headed inside for an ice-cream cone. Then it was back on the bus to head back to school. The boys were tired from their adventure on the bus and field trip, but had a really fun morning with their friends.
