St. Patrick's Day school parade/sing-along
Instead of a classroom St. Patrick's Day party at school, the boys had shamrock shakes and then they had a parade and sing-along in the gym that parents were invited too. It was very cute to see all the kids waving their Irish flags they made! They sang some songs too, and I tried to video them (see below) but the boys were not standing in the front and it's sort of hard to see them. So then I asked them this morning sing me the songs again....

St. Patrick's Day Parade
We had a fun time getting into the St. Patty's Day spirit by going to the Conshohocken St. Patrick's Day parade! It was a little colder then I thought it was going to be, so good thing I had hats and gloves, which we definitely needed. But about halfway through the sun came out and the wind died down and we could really enjoy the parade! Also interesting to note--we have reached an age where the thing the boys were most interested in was not the fire engines, but anyone throwing candy. I can only imagine 4th of July this year! Ha!

Rainbow Cupcakes
It's letter "R" week at school and the boys and I decided to make a fun snack for their class. We made rainbow cupcakes! My little bakers were a big help and we had a great time making these cute treats. First, we made the batter and divided it into 6 bowls. Then we squeezed some food coloring into the batter and mixed it well. Finally, we layered the colors into the cupcake liners. They turned out great and the boys had a fun time sharing them with their friends today.
