New...
...camera AND schedule!!

Pretty cute! The pics are as the boys are eating some goldfish as a snack.
Also new today...we started a new schedule! Now that we're done all our traveling, it made sense to start today..and I'm not looking back!! Here is how it went today...
6am-boys wake up & play upstairs in our room
6:45am-take the boys downstairs and put them in their high chairs for breakfast
(read: NO MORE BOTTLES!! Can I get a YIPPIE?!!!)
6:45-7:15-breakfast, fruit
7:15-PLAY!
9am-Snack (yogurt)
9:30am-walk, then back to play
11am-lunch
(I did want to push this a little later, and hope to do that after they catch on in a few weeks--but after months of taking a 9am nap, I was happy to have them make it to 11am and still be able to hold their head up to eat some sort of lunch!)
11:30am-nap!! One nap a day!
(Stop: Now, you might be thinking, why in the world would she be so happy to go from 2 naps a day to 1 nap a day? That is because the boys have been on the craziest nap schedules lately. In fact, the last few weeks I have had all 3 of them on different sleep schedules, which means that at least 1 or 2 is up with me the ENTIRE day. When Dylan & Danny would sleep, Andrew would be awake with me, when Andrew went to sleep, Dylan & Danny would be awake with me, when Andrew woke up, Dylan would sleep and I'd have Andrew & Danny, then he would wake up and I'd have all three again. Which also meant they were all eating seperately...all of which was just turning into a logistical nightmare, not to mention that I just wanted a small break. So I couldn't WAIT until today to try to keep them all up and have them ALL be tired enough to sleep at the same time. I really had no idea what time they would wake up...would it be an hour? 2 hours? (could that really happen?!!)...well, for their first day (beginners luck?) they sleep 2.5 hours!!!!!!!!!! ALL OF THEM!!!!! I honestly did NOT know what to do with myself. I kept starting things but then putting them away because I was convinced the boys would wake up ..but they just didn't! It was amazing! We'll see what it is like tomorrow.....

2:30-another little snack
2:30-5pm- a walk + play time
5pm-dinner
6pm-baths, sippy cups w/ milk
7pm-bed!
Phew, what a day!! They did great on their new schedule! Goodbye bottles! Hello 2.5 hour naps!!! (all at the same time!!!)

Cape May Zoo
My mom, dad, Ryan & I took the boys to the Cape May Zoo so they could see all the animals that they read all about. It was REALLY crowded (we will definitely get there when it opens next time!) but we think the boys had fun looking at all the animals. We were really impressed with all the different kinds of animals they had being such a small zoo (donations only!) down the shore.
*Note: Camera was dropped in the sand and did not work much of our trip (boo!) Notice how I keep trying to take pictures, but they just get progressively worse until I just gave up, so not as many pics from this trip as I would have liked. Good news is that we did get a new camera upon returning today, so I will have to check it out tomorrow!)

Hard to believe it's almost September! We had a busy busy summer ~ this was our last trip for a while..we'll now be settling into life at home (and changing schedules again...more on that soon!)
*Note: Camera was dropped in the sand and did not work much of our trip (boo!) Notice how I keep trying to take pictures, but they just get progressively worse until I just gave up, so not as many pics from this trip as I would have liked. Good news is that we did get a new camera upon returning today, so I will have to check it out tomorrow!)

We had a great time down the shore! My Aunt Kathy, Uncle Larry, Larry, Christine & Austin were down too, and Aunt Mary came over a lot, so it was great to spend so much time with the family!

Afternoon birthday party
This afternoon we had a birthday party for Riley & Brennan down the street. The boys had so much fun playing in their backyard and hanging out with all their neighborhood friends!
