Playing!!

Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to the last few days...basically just PLAYING with all our fun new toys! These pictures are only just a few of the great new things the boys got for Christmas...some of their other favorites I just didn't get pictures of because my camera was in another room, etc, but here are just a few....

New jumper (it's back.....)

Awesome new Lego table and tons of new Legos!

Pattern Blocks

Dylan's trains--Santa brought a few more tracks and trains (I think we could be our own commercial for Geotrax)

Pirate Castle

Our glowing "help us sleep" turtles--they project stars and a moon all over the room!

And one of their FAVORITE gifts this year is the Handy Manny Talking Toolbox. They each have one and LOVE it. We're slowing moving away from our Mickey phase (more like Daisy and Minnie) and right now we're very into Handy Manny.

And the other favorite gift seems to be their new paint, paint brushes, and paint cup holders. We were painting by 10am on Christmas morning with a huge pile of presents still left to open. Artwork will be coming to everyone soon-- it's piling up so fast on my dining room table!

Christmas dinner

A great morning followed by a great afternoon/evening at my parents house for Christmas dinner. Probably the highlight for the boys was the burp machine that Austin brought with him---they sat on the stairs and just laughed and laughed....such boys!

Christmas morning

Santa was here!!! Oh boy, was he ever!

The boys woke up and after we reminded them it was Christmas, couldn't wait to go downstairs. I am sure next year we won't even have to remind them!

We came down to the playroom and Santa had left presents...all nice and color-coordinated. Danny had the white wrapped ones, Andrew had the green ones, and Dylan had the red ones. Their stockings were hung over their pile so they knew which one was theirs. They opened the treats in their stockings...and then got ready to dig in to the other presents. Dylan and Andrew started opening things right away, but unfortunately, Danny decided he did not like presents wrapped in white paper, he liked the ones in green. After Andrew generously gave him some green ones to open, then we really got on a roll. But the funny thing was...they would open something, and love it, and then play with it for a while, and then come back to open something else. So all the opening took the span of hours and hours. We opened trucks and played with those, playdough and played with that for a long time, even opened new paint and had to test that out right away. We stopped and had breakfast, even a snack, and were still opening. We finished up with presents in the family room. It was a wonderful Christmas and the boys were really into everything! All these fun new toys are going to make the winter so fun!
