Ho Ho Ho! Santa comes to visit....

What a great way to kick off the holiday season! We were so lucky to have a special visitor come over to our house! Santa heard that there were some good boys at our house, and stopped to say hello. The boys were a little unsure at first, so to warm up, Santa read them a few of their favorite books. Then everyone got a turn on his lap, followed by a group shot. Before he left the boys gave him an apple for Rudolph and later we found it half eaten outside! Grandmother was there the whole time during the visit, and coincidently, my dad happened to arrive a few minutes after Santa left....
Fun morning!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We have so much to be thankful for, particularly our wonderful families. Although we couldn't be with Ryan's family today, the boys were able to Skype with them this morning to say happy thanksgiving. We love them & miss them on special family holidays lilke today. Carters, we were thinking of you today!
We spent the afternoon with my family over at Aunt Kathy and Uncle Larry's house. The boys had so much fun! They played bumper pool, foozball, and shuffleboard in the game room, then even got to play outside for a bit. They played on the swingset and slide. And of course they ATE--Danny had cheese cubes in his mouth most of the party, and Andrew and Dylan snacked on chips and Mom-Mom's special dip. Yum. The boys even got a chance to Skype Larry in Africa to say happy thanksgiving to him.
We are so blessed to have such great families!

Ryan's turkey frying

Ryan brought his deep-fryer and a turkey over to Aunt Kathy & Uncle Larry's house today and did another amazing job with the turkey!
