Gramma is in town!

Gramma Georgia is in town for the next few days and the boys were so excited to see her and show her all their fun new Christmas toys! It is so great to have her here!

Tonight Andrew was just sitting on his train and Dylan came over and started pushing him around the room.
(fyi..name tags are because lately we have been confusing Dylan and Andrew....just kidding, we had gymboree this morning and they love to wear their stickers all day)

Finger Painting

Last week I thought it would be fun for the boys to do some more art--so I decided we would try finger painting. Down went the shower curtain on the kitchen floor, smocks on, sleeves rolled up, and away we went! They didn't exactly LOVE it, but were at least willing to try it for all of 2 minutes. Oh well! Maybe when they are a little older? I thought we could at least get some good art for Aunt Beth's 30 birthday (wow!) this coming week but we barely got a good squiggle! We'll keep working on our art skills.....

Danny's morning at CHOP

Ryan & I took Danny to Children's Hospital this morning to have an orthopedic surgeon check out his leg/foot. We noticed very early on that his left foot would turn in when he put pressure on it, which definitely became more pronounced when he started walking on his own. Ryan wore a brace for this when he was little, so we thought we'd better get it checked out. We learned that this is a very common problem--in fact the dr. told us that of the 50 patients they would see today, 20 of them would be 1-2 year olds with a foot turning in. Unless it is a very extreme case (a club foot for example) they do not use braces or do surgery anymore. They just let it take care of itself. They feel that the foot will self-correct itself over time. All good news for Danny!

Slicked-back Danny

I gave the boys a bath one at a time tonight---and would pass each clean boy to Ryan who would hand me the next dirty boy. When I was all done, I came out to find that in addition to dressing them, he also put a little gel in their hair and slicked it back.....mobster style. So funny! Check out all the funny pictures!
