Once everyone started going in the water one by one, Danny decided he would try it and he did great! I was so proud of all of them! They all had fun and just kept asking when they could go on the big water slide!

Swimming lessons
Today we started Red-Cross swimming lessons at the Plymouth Community Center's indoor pool. Dylan and Andrew were so excited, but Danny was a bit hesitant. He told me he'd wear a bathing suit (that was a battle in itself) but would not get wet, which I told him was fine, he could just sit on the edge. There was 1 teacher for 5 children, and one of the kids wasn't there today, so it was only us and 1 other boy.

First day of Pint-Size Players
The boys had their first township-organized sports program yesterday. After being rained out the last two Tuesdays, they were excited to finally get started. We got there a little early so the boys had a chance to kick the soccer ball around for a few minutes while they waited for everyone else to arrive. Then the did a lap around the field, and some stretching exercises. First they did 15 minutes of soccer--kicking the ball back and forth to a partner and practicing stopping the ball. Then, they switched to baseball and practiced throwing overhand and underhand using nerf balls. Finally, the last 15 minutes was football--they practiced thowing and catching. They all did a great job, but it was funny to see them get bored with doing the same thing over and over and start to sit down in the field, or put the cones on their heads like hats. But it was really cute and a good first intro to sports!
