Hersheypark Day #1

Thank you so much Mom and Dad for a wonderful Hersheypark weekend!! What a great time! On Saturday morning my parents, us, and Chris, Kristi and Sydney all made their way to Hershey, PA for one sweet weekend trip. We went right to the park to start off, arriving right as it was opening on Saturday morning. We all headed right for the huge water park area "The Boardwalk" and spent some time splashing around and cooling ourselves since it was so incredibly hot. We left the water area and decided to do lunch early since the boys were looking/feeling/acting a bit drained. Some yummy Hershey milkshakes perked them right up and we spent a lot of time going on rides. We made it to the mini-carousel, mini-scrambler, took a train ride, tea-cups, and the bumble bees. That was enough to call it a day! We hoped the boys, who were very tired at this point, would fall asleep in the car on the way to the hotel, but no such luck. I hoped then, that they would fall asleep once I got our hotel room all dark and cozy. Again, no such luck. It was their first time being in a hotel, which they thought was super-cool, plus they all got to share a king-size bed together. There was no napping (even after such a busy day!) just lots of giggling and talking. I tried to take a picture of them when I thought they might snuggle in and sleep, but soon we just all got up and had a snack in the kitchen part of our suite instead.
