We left my grandparents house a little after 11am and it was just starting to rain again. Soon that light rain turned into a downpour and we could hardly see in front of us. Even more troubling was the amount of water building up again on the sides of the roads. By the time we were driving through Glenside, we could tell it was flash flood weather and that many roads near our house would be flooded. Oh were we right! We saw a car completly stuck in a flood next to the Philadelphia Cricket golf course on Valley Green Rd. with water up to half its car doors. We had to turn around numerous times to get to our house. After an hour+ of driving we finally made it home safe and sound....only to hear from neighbors that the flash flood that ripped through our backyard and side of the house was even worse then the one this morning!! This was what we came home to! The boys couldn't believe their sandbox and Ryan couldn't believe his shed with his beloved tractor STILL IN IT! Bad storms!!!!
