Christmas Eve

What a fun night! My parents came over this afternoon and for the second year we attempted to go to the 4pm Children's Mass at St. Philips. Last year, we did not make it to even the start of mass, however this year we made it to the first reading! Getting better! Bets are on for next year if we can make it to the Gospel....
So we came home, and started our tradition of making our own pizzas. The boys had fun "decorating" and eating their pizza for dinner.
After dinner the boys got a chance to open a few presents...and two huge hits were punching bags from the Lenoard family, and the Little People (our current obsession) Carnival. They had a blast playing until bathtime!!!
After baths and milk we "read" a special story. My grandmother recorded her voice reading "The Night Before Christmas" to the boys, and we listened to her book tonight. It is such a special present for the boys and something we will have and treasure forever!
We put out some cookies and milk out for Santa before bed! Now we just hope that Santa finds our house....!!!!
