Easter Saturday in Ocean City
It has been over 75 degrees for the last couple of days, so of course we were so excited to head down the shore for the day on Easter Saturday. We didn't count on foggy, cold weather though!! Regardless, we still had fun! We got our Brown's donuts and our Voltacco cheesesteaks so we were happy! Instead of going to the beach to play and dig in the sand, we ended up staying at the house all morning. We had fun playing with Grandmother, Granddad, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Colleen, Uncle Larry, Aunt Kathy, Larry, Christine, Austin, and Aunt Mary. It was a big (cold!) party! After lunch, we headed up to the boardwalk to go on some rides. The boys had so much fun! Then we walked to 11th street (we were beyond freezing cold at this point--I definitely did not dress the boys appropriately for the cold weather since I was anticipating 80 degrees!) for the big Ocean City Egg Hunt. Thankfully we got there a little early and were able to secure a good space as we waited for the start of the hunt. That front row spot made all the difference as the boys were able to completely fill their buckets with eggs! We only spent a few hours down the shore, but the boys had a great time. Now we're just looking forward to coming back to Ocean City in the summer when it really will be warmer!
