First dusting of snow

Yesterday afternoon we had a little dusting of snow. As soon as it started flurrying the boys got so excited and wanted to go out right away. Gloves, hats, jackets and boots x3 later we made it outside for some fun. First came the snow angels and shovels....even though there was barely any snow! Very funny! Can you tell that it's been so cold that we've not been outside playing in a while?? Well all the favorite toys were coming out! They rode bikes, bounced balls, and brought out the hula hoops. Oh summer toys how we've missed you! What fun it is to play with you in the snow! Then, to make things REALLY interesting, the boys decided that they needed something other then shovels...so out came the rakes and broom. Yes, that was us out raking our driveway. And as if all that fun wasn't enough (and me keep asking them...aren't you cold yet? Don't you want to go inside???) we even went on a short walk. It was nice to be outside for a little bit and have a little snow that made everything outside white and pretty--to get us even more in the Christmas spirit!
