Just got the call that we've been waiting for! Andrew is coming home today!
He has consistently gained weight, done well in his feedings, and maintained his temperature, breathing and heart rates. We had to take a car seat down yesterday and they did a car seat test with him. The nurses put him in the seat for an hour, hooked up to all his machines, and they just watch and make sure nothing dips below normal. He passed the test! After all his "exit exams" he will be ready to come home around 5pm today.
Dylan had another apnea yesterday morning (so two total) so they want to keep him in the hospital one more night just to make sure he is ok. If all goes well today/tonight then he should come home tomorrow.
Danny will probably be there until sometime maybe next week, we'll just wait and see. He is still a little slow on the feeding front, not eating as much and getting tired very easily. He needs some more time to get bigger and stronger. We will miss our little Dan and either Ryan or I will be back to the hospital every day to go check on him.
Now to go get ready for one homecoming! We are so excited!
