Tonight John & Janet invited our whole family down to their house for a little bbq and pizza. Beth flew up from San Diego today, and Jill flies up tomorrow morning. We are all so excited to see Jill since she is just getting back from her honeymoon in Italy for 2 weeks! (Can you belive when she got into LAX today she found out they lost her luggage???AHHH!) Since my cousin Jennifer couldn't be out here (she just moved and started a great new job--and is a godmother to Dylan) my Aunt Mary (her mom and MY godmother!) came out to take her place!!! She flew in today as well. My parents got in last night and Kevin has already been here. Tomorrow we'll be missing (but thinking about!!) our cousin Larry (godfather to Andrew) who just started school at St. Joe's University, and my brother Chris, (godfather to Danny) who just moved down to Durham, NC to go full time to get his MBA at Duke, and Kristi his wife. We'll also be missing Jason (Jill's new HUSBAND!! Welcome to the family Jason!!) He's heading back to San Diego to get things in order after being gone for 2 weeks. It won't be the same without them all of them!!
So all of us who are here went down to the Simonson's house tonight for some of their famous brick oven pizza! We had a great time as usual sitting around their fabulous back yard just hanging out. It was the perfect way for everyone to get together and kick off the christening weekend!!!
